I grew up in Powder Springs, GA, and moved to the Cartersville area 15 years ago when I married Cartersville native, Ray King. I love this area and immediately felt like I was home. Relocating prompted me to seek another career as the commute on 75 seemed never-ending. (I know you get it!)
With over 30 years in customer service, account management, and administrative experience, I felt that insurance might be a good fit for me. I became licensed as an agent in 2009 and began as a Producer. I have also worked in the field recruiting and training other agents and supporting management.
My goal is to educate our community about the importance of proper insurance coverage, find them the best value, and provide great service. I also want to build a team where employees feel valued, have a flexible work schedule, be able to put their families first, and still make a comfortable living.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and helping others be able to do the same. I think the most important thing parents and grandparents can do is give the gift of time. Nothing is more important than showing them how much their presence means to you.
My guilty pleasure is reading and exploring anything historical. I am a huge Outlander fan and would one day like to see Scotland. When I am not working, you can usually find me spending time with friends, hanging out with one of my grandchildren, or watching a historical documentary.
